Overview
MEDTEC Japan is a specialized event focusing on the design and production of medical devices and is the largest exhibition of its kind held in Asia, gathering together roughly 35,000 people involved with the medical device market. The health care/medical market is considered to be one of the primary markets of our company. The theme of our booth at the exhibition was "A healthy, worry-free future created by technology for 'connection'", and we presented demo units and case studies of various products including wearable devices and medical standard-compliant power supplies.
Product information
Biosensor Silmee™ compatible with health care and various other applications
With the combination of high-precision sensors and our software technology/original algorithm, TDK biosensors can support various types of data collection activities.
TDK's PiezoHapt™ actuators are vibration units with an approximate thickness of only 0.30 – 0.35 mm, and able to convey skin sensations over a wide range even when driven by low voltage. Since their amplitude and frequency can be freely changed using pulse control, they can support many different vibration patterns.
TDK's lithium-ion battery packs are equipped with various sensing technologies, allowing any abnormal conditions such as battery cell deterioration and falling to be detected immediately.
Medical standard-compliant power supplies CME-A Series and RWS-B/ME Series
An extensive range of products compliant with medical standards are available, including multi-output power supplies and power supplies with built-in digital control circuits.
CeraPlas™ - low-temperature plasma generation element for surface treatment
A plasma generation element which utilizes piezoelectric transformers. This product has a remarkably small size and low cost compared to conventional plasma equipment, which supplies high voltages from RF power supplies or other sources over high-voltage cables.
