TDK Flexields are thin, flexible magnetic sheets [shields] that have numerous applications within the electronics industry. For NFC shield applications, the magnetic parameters’ behavior over frequency greatly differs in importance than for other uses. This White Paper will explain key material characteristics quantified through figures of merit, which gives the designer a better understanding of how they impact read range performance and are supported by actual testing results.
